A very early goal by super Sammy Clements gave Crawley Down Gatwick the lead against home side Alfold at the "Elliott Scott Group Stadium. A little later Guy Harding doubled the lead which the "Anvils" held until halftime. In the second half, a soft, comical penalty was awarded to the "Anvils" and converted by Sammy Clements for his second goal of the game. Soon afterwards a cracking shot from the evergreen Nick Sullivan increased the lead and then another penalty, this time converted by Oliver Leslie completed the scoring.
