Home team Steyning Town managed to hold Loxwood to a goalless first half but it all went haywire in the second half. Soon after the restart a run down the left by Callum Dowdell with a cross to George Cousins who finished with quality. This was followed minutes later with a well worked goal from Samuel Fildes to double the lead. Devon Fender got in on the act of scoring minutes later with a super header but then it went from bad to worse for the home side when Ryan Timms was shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle just before Callum Chalmers pulled a consolation goal back for the home side with a nice header but the 3-1 victory went to Loxwood.
