In the second half, it was all to play for when Tom Biggs brought the scores level with a wonderful shot from long range. For the rest of the second half in front of a very large crowd, both sides produced many chances but none were taken, but before the final whistle Chichester City went down to ten players when Emmet Dunn was sent off for a head butt and then George Gaskin had the ball in the goal but the offside flag was up so into extra time as the game all got rather tetchy.
In extra time there were plenty of chances but no goals so as the tension rose it was into the last fifteen minutes. The ten men of Chichester City took the lead when Callum Overton robbed a "Golds" defender of the ball and slotted it into the corner of the goal. Only minutes later Dion Jarvis tapped in the equaliser from a low cross. As time was running out deep into added time the home side goalkeeper Kieran Magee made a wonderful save but the loose ball was collected by Dion Jarvis who scored to give Littlehampton Town a 4-3 victory at the end of a pulsating, enjoyable game. The winners Littlehampton Town will visit the "Beacon" to play Hassocks in the semi-final and then winners there will play Saltdean United in the final.
