Still playing to avoid relegation, an in-form AFC Varndeanians were playing their last home game of the season at the "Withdean Stadium" against mid table Little Common who had won their last three games. AFC Varndeanians took the lead minutes before halftime with a header from Omar Bukleb and in the second half Alexander Rainford increased the lead by firing the ball into the bottom corner of the goal. To make certain of victory for the home side Kyle Woolven curled the ball over the goalkeeper into the net in added time to complete a 3-0 victory. With a run of five victories, AFC Varndeanians have very nearly secured their place in the Premier Division next season.
