Current Premier Division Leaders Saltdean United have never previously played mid table Division One Selsey so the home side now on a six win run must hope for a win but Cup matches can always spring surprises. What a surprise Saltdean Utd got as they were losing 3-0 at halftime. Dillon North scored in the first few minutes when he coolly slotted home a pass from Ollie Clark. A little while later Dillon North smashed home his second from close range and then later Dillon North completed his hattrick after putting away a cross from Brindep Phagora. A shocked Saltdean Utd came out for the second half with a mountain to climb but nothing happened despite terrific attacking and courageous defending until the last minutes of the second half. Nathan Cooper scored first followed by Marcus Allen and in added time Kieron Pamment levelled the score to take the game into extra time. In extra time Selsey were deflated when Joseph Shelley scored the winning goal with a towering header well into the second half of extra time to give a 4-3 victory to the "Tigers". Saltdean United survived an almighty scare as it was a great performance from Selsey.
