After a minute's silence in respect of the death of an AFC Uckfield Town club colleague, the home side soon took the lead against visitors Roffey when a defensive error allowed Harvey Burgess to tap the ball round the goalkeeper into the goal. A little later Harvey Burgess increased the lead when he scored his second goal to give the "Oakmen" the lead at half time with two well worked goals. Very early in the second half, George Cook slotted the ball into the goal from close range. After a rebound from their crossbar, Roffey raced away with Leon Khan neatly scoring a consolation goal. A strong second half performance from Roffey was matched by a dominating performance from AFC Uckfield Town who finished with a 3-1 home win and moved two places up the division.
