Roffey started with great enthusiasm after they went into the lead at home to Saltdean United. Straight from the kick-off Owen Smith scored for the home side but this was equalised mid-way through the first half when Connor Ghosh collected a pass from Marley Ambley and then calmly scored for the visitors. It was honours even at half time with end to end action at the "Theatre of Trees". A goal scored by William Berry was enough to give Saltdean United a 2-1 away victory and movement of two places up the division.. Saltdean United Man of the Match was debutant goalkeeper Spyridon Kokas.
