Soon after the start of the second half, the lead was doubled when Jack Langford scored his second goal after collecting a pass from Jack Barnes. The hattrick was completed when Jack Langford fired a fantastic shot straight into the goal. Substitute Dominic Johnson-Fisher went on a solo run and completed the scoring. This 4-0 home win moved Steyning Town up to third place in the division, equal on points with two other clubs whilst the "Oakmen" dropped three places.
