Horsham YMCA travelled down to the "Withdean Stadium" to play home side AFC Varndeanians and came away with a victory after a long period without a win. After a goalless first half, Tom Tolfrey gave a chance to Ben Bacon to score but his shot was well saved, the rebound went out on the left,and came to Dan Evans who curled the ball across goal for Tom Tolfrey to slide in and score the opening goal. The lead was doubled deep into added time when substitute new signing Sekou Toure made his debut count by scoring with a curling effort which looped over the goalkeeper and into the goal. A tight game of few chances but Horsham YMCA came away with a deserved 2-0 away victory and they moved three places up the division..
