Eastbourne United AFC made the short trip to play Bexhill United, as both teams hoped to keep their good runs going. "United" got off to a flying start, when Ellis Cormack scored straight from the kick-off. Later in the first half Max Thompson scored followed by George Taggart with a pile driver of a shot into the goal to give the visitors a good lead at halftime. Straight from the start of the second half, Haydon Beaconfield pulled a goal back for the "Pirates". The substantial lead was confirmed when Max Thompson scored his second but it was reduced again by Joe Summerbee after some juggling of the ball with the home side goalkeeper. An excellent game with full effort from both sides, but Eastbourne United AFC held on to record a 4-2 victory and maintain third place in the Premier Division.
