Roffey travelled to play Hassocks still looking for their first goal and first point of the season. The game started badly for the visitors when after only a few minutes Jack Troak scored from the penalty spot. An Own Goal by Patrick Gibbs increased the lead then a goal from Phillip Johnson and another by Phillip Johnson right on half time put the home team in a good half time lead. Roffey held their own for much of the second half until Alex Bygraves scored with a header from a James Westlake corner. Samuel Smith then got on the score sheet followed by Jamie Wilkes in added time to complete a 7-0 home victory for Hassocks.
