Two teams a long way apart in the division played at the Recreation Ground, Little Common (14th) were at home to Eastbourne Town (6th) and were hoping to go one better than the draw earlier in the season in the away game. Eastbourne Town took the lead only minutes before the break with a spectacular goal by Leon Greig. He repeated his speciality from a previous game and scored direct from a corner. There were no more goals in the second half despite tremendous pressure from both teams so Eastbourne Town took home a 1-0 away victory. Although they lost the game, Little Common named Lewes Parsons as their Man of the Match.
