Bexhill United had to wait until midway in the first half to take the lead at home to Eastbourne Town when debutant James Stone scored with a great strike to give the "Pirates" a slender lead at half time. Anesu Sisimayi pulled a goal back from the penalty spot for Eastbourne Town and then Bexhill Utd did the same when Jack Shonk converted a penalty to register his 100th goal for the club and to restore the two goal lead to give Bexhill United a 3-1 home win as they moved up to eighth position in the division with a game in hand.
